The Jig-Brix™ system has been further developed during the past four years, following an invitation to join a three-year LINK funded research project (Mechanical Performance of Road Ironwork/Pavement Systems) by Nottingham University together with Saint Gobain plc, Pavement Technology Ltd, plus in-put from the Highways Agency to investigate ways of overcoming the costly problem of ironwork surround failures.

Proven results have shown that Jig-Brix™ sections have made a significant difference in eliminating these failures.
